If Stargirl showed up in our school tomorrow, would you be her friend?

Why or why not? (In other words, JUSTIFY your answer!)

If Stargirl came to our school tommorrow, i would try to be her friend. Most people, you have to know them before you can judge them. (like never judge a book by it’s cover) Most people saw Stargirl as a weird girl who brought a pet rat to school and loved her ukelele. Once Leo got to know her, though, you could see Stargirl as a girl who make kids happy by dropping coins and really cares about everyone around her. It mentioned that Stargirl made this “book” on the kid across the street. Did Stargirl make herself a book? It never says that she did. Stargirl would rather make some stranger happy then make herself happy. That shows a lot about a person. I would definatly want a friend like that.

P.S. When are we going to finish our whaling debate?

i agree with ryan. she is a little weird, but you can not judge her by her appearance. more like different. just an outcast. and that is perfectly normal. to tell everyone the truth, i would think she is a freak and would not be friends with her. although i would be missing out on a ton, she is not my type of friend:)

Thanks for being so candid- how important is it to be accepted?

Comment on April 29th, 2008.

I think it matters who you are. If you really want to have friends and be part of a group, it is very important. On the other hand, if you don’t care if you have friends, then it’s fine to not be accepted.

when ever i think of stargirl, i think of brooke white from american idol; the same personality prettyh much

The Nie thing to say would to be her friend. But, I don’t really know what I would do. It IS WEIRD that she brings a RAT to school, and that she plays her ukiliay (I know that is spelled wrong) on birthdays. I think that I might not be her friend. But, I might do what the story’s main character does, act like everyone else and ignore her, but then end up as her friend.

P.S. Sorry 4 all the typos. Im typing fast.

If stargirl came to our school i would be happy that my birthday was in the summer. :-) Also, i would be nice to her but i don’t think she would be my type of friend. I like her adventurous side, but i think she is just soo different it would be hard to be friends with her. You might not have anything in common and since she is always happy its kind of annoying. I definatly wouldn’t treat her the way the cheerleaders and the rest of the school did. I see their point of view, but I definatly wouldn’t shun her from talking to me. I think being friendly but not having to be friends is the best thing to do with someone like her!

If Stargirl came to our school, I might be her friend. Although it may get a little annoying being freinds with someone who is always happy, you would know that she would always be there for you.

I would try to be her friend. I mean, she is so different and she doesn’t even care that people think she’s weird. I’d admire her for that, and try to get to know her. I’d also try be friends with her because most people would think she’s a weirdo and a freak, and would steer clear of her. She would need someone to be there for her. The only reason I’m not sure I’d exactly like her is that she carries around a pet…rat.

Once your loged in, go to Profile > Your Advatar. It doesn’t always work, so keep trying if you want to change your advatar.

Just so everybody knows, I was the “test”. I was experimenting with the advatar system. Since I am an Adminisrator on one or more sites, it was different for me, so i had to make sure it was the same layout for you.
